Psychotherapy
As a clinical psychologist I treat adults, adolescents, couples and families with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, relationship problems, behavioral issues and attentional and executive functioning deficits.
In psychotherapy treatment, I use a combination of techniques based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and a variety of Interpersonal Therapy models. Therapy focuses on understanding the issues involved in emotional and behavioral concerns and developing effective problem-solving and coping strategies. Relaxation, Stress Reduction and Mindfulness techniques are also taught for symptom reduction and maintenance of health. Weekly sessions are 50 minutes long.
